COSH is pleased to share that the following laws were signed by Governor Murphy on January 21, 2020:
P.L. 2019, C. 387: the Hand and Foot bill – increases workers’ compensation payments for the loss of function of a hand or foot.
P.L. 2019, C. 416: the Credit Reporting bill – prohibits medical providers from reporting unpaid workers’ compensation charges to collection and credit reporting agencies.
We are thankful to all our members, colleagues and the legislators who worked tirelessly to ensure that these laws, which will benefit all workers in New Jersey and their family, were passed.
